GeoHarvest 1.0 (bèta) Configuration Tutorial - Page 1 of 4

This tutorial takes you step by step through the configuration of GeoHarvest. Please keep a flash card with images handy and a GPS unit that was running while you took the shots on the card (or a Track file from this GPS unit somewhere on your computer). First we will configure the program for manual mode. This has to be done only once and when it all works you can activate the automation, if so desired.

Download
GeoHarvest works on Windows XP and Windows Vista systems. It depends on Microsoft .Net 2.0 and 3.5, that can be downloaded from Microsoft if not yet installed:

Please make sure these dependencies are met.

GeoHarvest is free bèta software and does not contain any viruses, spyware or other malware. Use it entirely at your own risk. Copyright 2009 Philip Fahrenfort, all rights reserved
Download GeoHarvest.zip ver 1.0.3 (3.2 MB)

Just unzip the files to a folder and then start GeoHarvest by double clicking 'GeoHarvest.exe'. After you start the program it will hide in the system tray as a globe icon. Right click the icon and choose 'Show'. The program settings window will pop up.

Manual Mode
Now look at the different tabs and uncheck the following checkboxes to create the manual mode that we will use to setup GeoHarvest:

In the System tab the Memory should NOT be set to 0 (zero) days.
